Corporate Training built around what your team actually needs

We run workshops and coaching programmes for organisations across Wales and the wider UK. Every session is shaped by your goals, your people and the day-to-day pressures they face.

The gap between training budgets and real change

Most off-the-shelf courses tick a compliance box and nothing else. Participants sit through slides, collect a certificate, then return to the same habits on Monday morning.

What we keep hearing from HR leads

  • Managers promoted for technical skill, not people skill, struggle with difficult conversations and team dynamics.
  • New hires complete onboarding but still feel disconnected from the organisation's values after three months.
  • Previous training providers delivered polished slides but zero follow-up, so nothing stuck.
  • Remote and hybrid teams have eroded informal mentoring, and nobody has replaced it with anything structured.

How we approach it differently

  • We interview a cross-section of your staff before designing any content, so the scenarios in the room are their scenarios.
  • Each programme includes a 30-day follow-up call with every participant to troubleshoot real application.
  • We cap group sizes at 14 people. Larger cohorts get split into parallel sessions rather than crammed into a lecture hall.
  • All materials are licensed to you after delivery, so your internal trainers can refresh the content without paying again.

Programmes we deliver

Each programme runs as a half-day, full-day or multi-session series depending on depth and group size.

Leadership and management essentials

A two-day programme for new and aspiring managers covering delegation, feedback frameworks, performance conversations and team motivation. Participants leave with a personal development plan reviewed by their facilitator.

Communication and conflict resolution

Half-day intensive using recorded role-plays and peer coaching. Covers active listening, de-escalation techniques and written communication for sensitive topics. Particularly popular with customer-facing teams.

Values alignment workshops

We facilitate sessions where teams define, debate and codify their working values. The output is a practical charter your people actually wrote, not a poster from head office. Runs as a single full day.

Time management and productivity

A half-day session grounded in audit data: participants track their real week before attending, then we analyse patterns together. They leave with a restructured weekly template and accountability pairing.

Change management for mid-level leaders

When restructures, mergers or system rollouts loom, middle managers bear the weight. This programme gives them a structured communication plan, a resistance-mapping tool and facilitated practice sessions.

Bespoke programme design

If none of the above fits, we build from scratch. We have designed programmes on topics from neurodiversity awareness to board-level governance skills. The scoping process takes roughly two weeks.

How an engagement works

From first conversation to final follow-up, here is what to expect.

Discovery call

A 30-minute video call where we listen to your situation, ask about team size, existing training history and the outcomes you care about most. No pitch deck, no pressure.

Needs analysis

We send a short survey to a sample of participants and review any internal data you share (engagement scores, exit interview themes, 360 feedback summaries). This takes about a week.

Programme design

We draft the session plan, share it with your project lead for feedback, then revise. You approve the final version before we book dates. Typical turnaround is ten working days.

Delivery

Sessions happen on your premises or at a venue of your choice. We bring all materials, printed workbooks and any tech we need. Virtual delivery via Zoom or Teams is also available.

Follow-up coaching

Thirty days after delivery, each participant receives a one-to-one call to discuss what they have applied and where they are stuck. We compile anonymised themes into a report for you.

Impact review

At the 90-day mark we run a short impact survey and present findings alongside recommendations for next steps. This is included in the programme fee.

Manager leading a productive team meeting after corporate training

What clients report after working with us

We brought Core Values in to train 22 team leaders over three sessions. Within two months, our internal grievance rate dropped by a third. The follow-up calls made the difference: people actually used what they learned because someone checked in.
— Helen Prosser, Head of People, a Welsh housing association

We do not publish client logos without permission, but we are happy to arrange a reference call with organisations in your sector during the proposal stage.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should we book?
Three to four weeks is comfortable. We have accommodated shorter timelines when the scope is straightforward, but the needs analysis stage benefits from at least a week of lead time.
What does a typical programme cost?
A single half-day session for up to 14 people starts at £1,800 plus VAT. Multi-session programmes and larger cohorts are quoted individually after the discovery call. The 30-day follow-up and 90-day impact review are included at no extra charge.
Can sessions be delivered virtually?
Yes. About 40% of our sessions in 2024 were delivered via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. We redesign activities for the virtual format rather than simply screen-sharing slides, so engagement stays high.
Do you work outside Wales?
We deliver across the UK. Travel costs are included for Wales and the South West. For other regions, we add a transparent travel supplement quoted upfront.
What qualifications do your facilitators hold?
All lead facilitators hold a CIPD Level 7 or equivalent postgraduate qualification in learning and development. Several are also accredited coaches through the International Coaching Federation.
